For over 40 years, the prestigious Catas Laboratories, European leaders in applied wood-furniture research, have been operating from their headquarters in San Giovanni al Natisone (Udine) and Lissone (Monza and Brianza), carrying out chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses on materials and products used in the wood, furniture, and construction sectors.
For us at Lederplast, having the opportunity to compare ourselves with the leading experience of an institute such as Catas shows us that the attention we devote to the quality of our synthetic leather products is truly appreciated.
For this reason, it is with great pleasure that our synthetic leather production laboratory has been working with them for several years to monitor our fabrics, in order to guarantee our customers a product of good quality in every respect: fire, chemical, physical, and mechanical resistance.
All the tests that our products undergo on a daily basis are carried out to verify that they meet the requirements of the technical standards currently in force.
Furthermore, these tests are conducted in accordance with European (EN), international (ISO), and national (UNI, DIN, BS, NF, ASTM, ANSI) standards or according to specific specifications. This is very important to us, as we produce fabrics for sectors of application where compliance with standards is essential, particularly in the healthcare and hospital sectors, but also in the nautical and automotive sectors.
