Lederplast has completed a multi-year project to upgrade its MES (Manufacturing Execution System) IT infrastructure. This significant investment has resulted in fully computerised production, capable of monitoring every stage of the process: from order entry and confirmation to industrial production management. All production parameters are now monitored and tracked, allowing for greater control, reliability and consistency in the quality of the finished product.
The EMS-Energy Management System, combined with it, thanks to the installation of sensors and meters, also allows the collection and analysis of energy data, in particular those related to the new coating line, allowing assessments of consumption and plant efficiency.
The ultimate goal of these interventions is to develop a production system that grows without losing consistency, based on experience, open to evolution and in line with an increasingly green future.
